Small Claims Court
There are certain requirements to be addressed before your case concerns are heard. First you must make a formal request to defendant respondent requesting compensations. Explain your reason and present evidence to support your request.
If defendant respondent does not reply within a specified time frame, then you may move forward preparing your case. The SC-100 form (small claims) has to be correctly filled out. Now you're ready to file your case with the court where the case is to be heard.
Once you have filed your case with the court, notification has to be completed, (service of process) giving defendant respondent notice of the pending matter before the courts.
When the small claims SC-100 form has been properly served, a SC-104 form (proof of service) has to be filled out and filed with the appointed court declaring completion of service of process.
This SC-104 form is to be filled out by a process server, sheriff or an adult over the age of 18. After completion of these details you are ready to prepare yourself for your day in court.
